Product details

Applaws is a complete, dry dog food specially formulated for the health and wellbeing of large breed adult dogs. Grain free Applaws is made with 75% protein-rich chicken, so it's low in carbohydrate. This can encourage the development of lean muscle tissue, promoting a healthy weight for your dog.

Grain free diet is easier for dogs to digest and metabolise
Complete and balanced containing everything your dog needs to stay happy and healthy
Natural omega 3 & 6 nourish your dog's coat, producing a stunning silky appearance
80% animal protein high meat content for easy digestibility

Many dry dog foods use grains as their primary source of protein. Diets that contain high levels of grain can be hard for dogs to digest and convert into energy. This could stress the liver and kidneys and can lead to the development of sensitivities and allergies...
That's why Applaws is grain and cereal free!

If feeding to your dog for the first time, gradually introduce over a period of 5 days. Always remember to provide fresh drinking water.

  • Dogs seem to like it
I bought this a few weeks ago and both the dogs (who are fussy) are enjoying it.

  • Goog quality, grain free food
Have been buying this for my previous 3 Rotties and they have thrived on it.

  • Applaws mixed with Vets Kitchen
Applaws mixed 50:50 with Vets Kitchen is the perfect recipe for a large active dog. Keeps her happy, fit and healthy. Tiny gripe - the bag is tricky to fasten.

  • My Golden Retriever loves it
Was looking for a meaty food without all the fillers but still a ‘dry’ food. This hits the spot. My dog had gone off his previous food so I tried this one due to the ingredients and the size of the packet - the old food was in a really big pack and I am not sure how fresh it stayed. My dog loves this and tucks in. You need less of it for each food (I make sure I weigh it) so works out well financially. The kibble pieces are only small which I was surprised about for a large dog food but doesn’t bother my dog. It’s really rich though so you really don’t need as much as you think - start at lower end of estimates amounts and be diligent with weighing.

  • Perfect for my dog
I've been using this kibble on one of my dogs for the last 7 or 8 months. I work within the pet trade and have received significant nutrition training so it's nice to know that the ingredients are of a high quality and the food is grain free. I have a 8 year old saluki with three legs and a mild grain intolerance. Since learning about dog food I have tried a few different high quality foods but none have worked as well as this has! Joint care within the food has eased his mobility whilst putting my mind at rest for the future. Grain free means he is no longer ill, he smells great and his coat is much softer. The high meat content also means that I feed less than low quality foods so that he is full whilst saving me money in the long run. Since putting him on it I now feed the senior food to my 10 year old terrier and will be moving my 1 year old lab onto it when I go to switch her onto adult food at a year and a half old. I wouldn't use any other food than Applause now, it has a high quality recipe with a good price
