Every cat can get worms – however soundly they’re sleeping. Cats with worms often won’t show any signs of a worm infection, but left untreated they can lead to serious health complications for you and your family. Drontal cat film-coated tablets are highly-effective and shaped to make worming easier for both you and your cat. You might not know if your cat has intestinal worms, but you can trust Drontal to help combat them.
For cats weighing less than 4kg and over 6 weeks of age, use Drontal Wormer tablets for Small and Medium Cats (Under 4kg):
Cats 2kg = 0.5 tablet
Cats 2-4 kg = 1 tablet
For cats greater than 4kg it may be more convenient to use Drontal Wormer XL Tablets for Large Cats (Over 4kg):
Cats 4-6kg = 1 tablet
For cats greater than 6kg, it may be more convenient to use Dronspot Spot On Wormer for Large Cats.
The tablets can be given directly, but if necessary, can be disguised in food.
How often should I worm my cat?
Research has shown that the majority of cats in the UK should be wormed monthly, based on their home environment and lifestyle such as scavenging, hunting, and spending time outdoors.* However, there may be situations where less frequent treatment is required and it’s best to speak to your vet about the most appropriate worming frequency for your cat.

Great priceMy cat takes this hidden in some cat yoghurt, not a problem. Great price and so easy to add to my weekly Ocado groceries.
Too large a tablet and tricky to divideMy cat can spot a tablet despite heavy disguise so to have to break it up into four to make it a more disguiseable morsel is not for us. Mental note to self to buy liquid spot on treatment next time. In the end, he did eat it all and I imagine it has done the job.
Good ServiceSuddenly realised it was time for my cat to be wormed as has to have one a month due to hunting every day only to find the cupboard was bare. But amazing service can pick a delivery slot so picked early Sunday morning before we had to go and collect our new rescue dog. So all sorted and very happy.
Good qualityIt is a good wormer for cats, even active hunters. However, it is difficult to give this tablet to my cat as he is very suspicious of anything in his food. Last time I tried to squash the tablet and then mix it in with a bit of marmite but it was still a bit tricky.
Effective for my catMy cat is on mixed of raw and kibbles. So, to protect her, I purchased this and it’s effective, have no problem since.
