  • Suitable for larger dogs
Noticed from the recent previews these aren’t suited well to terriers but my two German shepherds are obsessed with these toys. They love throwing them around, chewing them, pouncing on them, this toy keeps them entertained for ages and surprisingly has lasted.

  • A soft cuddly friend? Not to my terrier!
Rather, she enjoys killing the duck, removing its honker and ripping it to shreds. It didn't last long but she thoroughly enjoyed killing it and as long as she has fun with her toys, then they've served their purpose. Will buy her another one or two at some point.

  • Better in principal than reality
A friend bought one of these for our lab puppy last year, she loved it and despite managing to remove it's head stuffing after a month or so the duck remained a favourite toy until it was finally resigned to the bin after almost a year. Such was the disappointment I decided to order a replacement and was shocked when it was thoroughly destroyed in a matter of hours. Not sure what has happened in 11 months but the difference in quality (mainly the stitching and materials) has dropped dramatically. Yes, it's cheap but the time I spent picking up stuffing exceeded the playtime provided.

  • Really disappointed...
The duck arrived about half an hour ago and my 7-month old Irish Terrier has already almost destroyed it - on foot has come off and the stuffing is coming out. This is the first toy he's done this too. Definitely a waste of money!

  • This duck's off the menu
Despite a couple days' riotous fun for my 10 month old gun dog, the honking lasted only 2 days, and by day 3, the beak was pecked to shreds. For now all else is still intact after 10 days, so not too bad given the price and maybe worth a try for not such tough guys.
